'Stranger Things' Season 4 Fails To Surpass ‘Squid Game’ In Viewership, Becomes Second Most-watched Netflix Series Of All-time-DETAILS BELOW!
Days after the release of ‘Stranger Things’ Season 4 on Netflix, the excitement around the show doesn’t seem to die down anytime soon. And it continues to reign as prime entertianter on the streaming giant.

According to the numbers, the forth edition of the sci-fi thriller is being loved by the audience for its dark and gritty theme, and it has broke records to become the 2nd most-viewed series of all time. In just a month since its release, the show has made its highly anticipated premiere, the series had 781.04 million hours of viewing in the first 28 days of its release.

Stranger Things 4 has overhauled ‘Bridgerton’ Season 2 to become the most-watched English language series of all time. According to the reports, it is currently placed at the number one position in 93 countries.

Back in April 2022, it was reportedly announced that the ‘Bridgerton’ Season 2 had 656.26 million hours of watch time in the first 28 days of its release and reached the number one spot in 92 countries.

Its worth noting that the ‘Stranger Things’ season 1, 2 and 3 are also on the Global Top 10 list.

However, the latest numbers seem to have a different story to narrate.

Despite breaking several records, Stranger Things couldn’t get past ‘Squid Game’ to become the most-watched Netflix series of all time. The South Korean drama continues to  hold the record of being the most-watched series ever on the streaming platform. The first season amassed 1.65 billion hours in the first 28 days of its release and was seen by more than 142 million households in the first four weeks from launch.

While Squid Gama has officially been renewed for a second season as well and fans have already anticipated that the show will break its own viewership records once it arrives on Netflix.

Although, the scenario is expected to change for Stranger Things as the show will be returning for the final two episodes of Season 4 on July 1. While the fans are quite curious about the show’s climax, Stranger Things might even eclipse Squid Game on the numbers front.

With the success of Volume 1, we can expect Volume 2 to put up impressive numbers as well.
